Powerful Tool

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

What makes Microsoft SharePoint stand out is how well it brings teams, documents, and workflows together in one place. Unlike basic file-sharing tools, it’s more like a digital workspace—it helps teams collaborate, manage content, and build custom internal sites all within the Microsoft ecosystem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I love most about SharePoint is how everything feels connected—you can share documents, manage permissions, and even build team sites without needing to jump between apps. It keeps team collaboration organized and in one central place.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about SharePoint is how confusing it can be for new users. It’s powerful, no doubt—but the layout isn’t very intuitive, and figuring out how to set permissions or customize a site can feel frustrating if you’re not already familiar with it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re considering SharePoint, I’d recommend giving your team some time to learn it properly. It’s a powerful tool once you get the hang of it, especially for document management and internal collaboration—but be prepared for a bit of a learning curve at the start.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Enables Productivity
  • Trustworthy
  • Unique Features

Not My Favorite App but Still Pretty Useful

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

What differentiates SharePoint for me from other apps is how deeply it’s tied into the whole Microsoft ecosystem. For all Teams, Outlook, or OneDrive users like me it should be a must-have, It just slides right in and makes everything feel connected instead of a bunch of separate apps.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that you can customize it to fit exactly how you work - like setting up personalized folders, creating pages, or automating simple tasks. It actually adapts to your workflow, which is pretty rare for software like this.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Actually, the layout isn’t very intuitive and the simplest so it can be confusing sometimes, but usually it's good.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

What I'd recommend is giving SharePoint a try if you’re serious about staying organized and working with teams or brands regularly, But try to use it mostly on a desktop because the mobile experience isn’t the most perfect thing.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
